Ken McCoy from Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United StatesHow beautiful! I wish I were standing where you were :) If I were going to retouch any, I might try and desaturate the greenery on the right to match the more muted tones of the forest at the top and left. But great shot! 18 Apr 2007 11:35pm @Ken McCoy: That's great I hadn't thought of that. Good advice. Sujit from Hyderabad, IndiaGood shot. I'd love to be there and feel the ROAR! BTW, if you are going back there, you might want to try a longer exposure (1/2 a sec or maybe 1 sec) to get so real soft water. But then you tripod has to go with you too :) 19 Apr 2007 8:44am @Sujit: Thanks for the input. I probably would have done that if I had my tripod (my nicer camera too). It's a good idea. Sadly I probably won't be going back for a while :( Jason from Durham, United KingdomGreat shot, i can almost hear the water crashing on the rocks below. 19 Apr 2007 9:07am Fallenargo from North Bay, CanadaI like the texture of the water though you could change the look by doing what Sujit suggested. I would also try to miniminze the amount of green along the right hand side. Is it possible to get down to the crash pool area and do some shots from there as that would present a much different angle. 19 Apr 2007 12:43pm @Fallenargo: I agree...thanks for that :) I also agree about the other angle unfortunately that was the only lookout for the waterfall. The terrain made it extremely difficult to capture it a different angle, although I thought different one could be more ideal. |
