I thought this photo turned out rather interesting. Almost fake looking. I didn't make any changes to it, except for cropping a bit of the the bottom. A light shining near the trees made them look so interesting. The object in the sky was a plane that flew by while I was taking this picture. And...what else...oh the sky was truly that purple. No photoshopping there whatsoever.

This is indeed a fascinating shot. It does have a plastic, assembled-together quality that seems almost more like a cheesy, drawn postcard than a photograph. But please don't take that the wrong way - that's what makes it so neat. As a painting, it would be corny; as a photo, it's awesome!

Brittney, the trees and lighting are great, add to it the plane trail and it is superb.

was the plane fast moving, did you use a tripod? Great result either way.

@Michael: Yes it was taking off, I had no idea it was going to fly into my photo! I did use a tripod.
